Mission Statement

Our goal is to provide financial, material, emotional and educational support to the children and families of the cane cutters in the Dominican Republic. 

This goal will be partially achieved by increasing awareness among Canadians of the conditions present in the cane cutter camps and the misery they live daily, and by encouraging direct contact between Canadians and these impoverished people.

 

 

 

 

VOLUNTEERS IN ACTION

HOW YOU CAN HELP

·        Make a tax deductible donation

    (We don't deduct any administration costs.  All amounts collected are sent in full to help the batey residents.)

·        Donate clothes or supplies

·        Sponsor a family for $300/year

·        Join as a volunteer on an outreach trip
